27 Oct. 2004   Amsterdam - Interregional Kick-Off Kick-Off for the inter-regional POSEIDON project Working Group in Amsterdam   The inter-regional POSEIDON Project Working Group for Theme 2 "Communication with/ consultation of local communities and direct involvement of inhabitants living in deprived urban neighbourhoods” will meet for a kick-off in Amsterdam between October 27-30, 2004. One aim of the meeting among the 6 partnercities is to deepen the common key issues defined in project phase I that will be analysed within the next working period until June 2005. The analysis of the appropriate “participation deals” and the question of hard to reach people will be part of the questions addressed in the meeting. Study visits will be organised to the neighbourhoods Geuzenveld-Slotermeer and Zeeburg. A presentation will be made of the results of an Amsterdam research programme concerning lifestyles of inhabitants and the motivation for participation. Amsterdam/Rob van Veelen/ Sept. 2004
