28 Nov. 2004   UNECE - Conference Vienna 2004   The future of social housing is considered to be a key issue concerning sustainable urban development by UNECE. To support its member states in the development of social housing programmes and to develop new guidelines on social housing, an international task force has been set up by the Committee on Human Settlement. At this international conference, hosted by the City of Vienna, experts from 55 UNECE - member states are invited to comment and to discuss the finalised guidelines and to enrich the compendium with examples of best practice.
